Should an au pair work more than the hours they have negotiated
in their agreement, they should be compensated accordingly with
either extra days off or extra pocket money.
TheBestAupair recommends taking (for example) school holidays
into consideration and how you would provide appropriate
compensation. This should be discussed with your au pair prior to
their arrival in your family and included in your agreement. Please
remember that in some countries, strict guidelines limit the number
of hours an au pair can work.
