Best AuPair

Upon finding this website I had second thoughts. But once I started using it I simply set up my profile and looked at families in the countries that I am interested in going. I found a family, clicked "I'm Interested" and waited for their interest on me back, then waited for an email from them, we interviewed vis Skype and within a week i have found my host family in a great country. This was all so simple, this website was so Handy and helpful everything i need to know was here, and any questions you have for thebestaupair.com they get back to you straight away. So you can go to another website, wait..alot..and rely on someone else you dont know to set up everything with alot of worrying and stress, then give that person more than $500 AUD deposit and then wait a YEAR for things to be set up and find a family. OR you could stay on this website set and get things sorted in about a WEEK. :D

Being an au pair is a great opportunity for young people. Not only is it a great way to travel, it's also a great way make life long friends and experience a new culture. When I first arrived, I was very nervous that the kids wouldn't like me and after my first week I was very overwhelmed with how busy the household was. My lifestyle had always been busy before I became an au pair, but it was a major change from taking care of my own busy schedule to looking after 3 busy kids. But my host parents and the kids were more than welcoming and were very patient as I settled into their routine, and each day became much easier.

It was so easy to get along with the kids and it was a lot of fun to play with them and get to know them. My host parents were so great at making me feel welcome in their home, and are always very helpful with any problems I had. I couldn't have asked for a better host family, they played a huge part in making my time abroad the best experience I've had. It was also very easy to meet new people, especially other au pairs, and many have become like best friends to me. With the support of my host family and new friends, I truly had the most unforgettable journey. The hardest part was leaving.
